Section 1. The memorial constructed by the citizens of
Anthony to
commemorate the tragedy suffered by this nation on
September 11, 2001,
and which incorporates in its construction three steel
beams from the
remains of the world trade center, a block of limestone
from the face of
the damaged pentagon building and soil from the
Pennsylvania crash site
of flight 93, is hereby designated as the ‘‘Kansas 9/11
memorial’’.
Sec. 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from
and after its
publication in the statute book.
